Peak Times in the Pantry: the first and last weeks of the month.
Least Busiest Times to Shop: middle of the month in the middle of the day.
Reminder: the Food Pantry is also open the 3rd Saturday morning of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Once registered in the Food Pantry, households can come once a month to pick up free groceries.
In October 2015, the Food Pantry’s monthly distribution offers food for 5 days per person, groceries include items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Food comes from a variety of places: the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, donations from food drives, local supermarkets, and local farmers.
With special financial support, the Center purchases and makes available fresh local milk throughout the year and fresh produce in the winter.
