Register for the Food Pantry

Thank you for registering for the Amherst Survival Center Food Pantry. Please follow the link below and fill in all requested information completely and accurately for yourself and your household members. You must register once annually: you are not required to register for each shop or pickup. If you have any questions, please contact pantry@amherstsurvival.org.

Food Pantry participation is restricted to residents of the 13 towns in the ASC’s service area (Amherst, Belchertown, Deerfield, Granby, Hadley, Leverett, Pelham, Shutesbury, South Deerfield, South Hadley, Sunderland, Ware, and Whatley,) and individuals experiencing homelessness. Out of area participants may receive two emergency shops per year.

If you are registering using this online form, you may use the pantry on that same day.

Please note: While there is no photo ID required to access the Pantry, you will be asked to show a form of address verification. This does NOT need to be an issued form of identification; it simply needs to include your name and current address. Some examples include: a license, a piece of mail, a bank statement, or a lease agreement. People experiencing homelessness are exempt from providing residency verification. All information is completely confidential.

Please note: This form requests that you self identify your annual income. This field is required. There is no income cap to use the Pantry. All income fields, including whether or not you receive government benefits, are required for demographic purposes

Please note: Filling out this online form may be difficult on some cell phone models. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you are having trouble with the form, you can register in person during our open hours.

By completing this form, I certify that all information given in this application is true and correct. By completing this form, I am agreeing to receive automated appointment confirmations via call, text message or email.  By requesting grocery delivery now or in the future, I authorize the Amherst Survival Center to share my name, address, contact information and dietary preferences with volunteers and relevant delivery partners.
