Amherst Survival Center Donation FAQs:

Is this donation tax deductible?

Yes. We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep the tax receipt we mail you as your official record. Our EIN number is 04-2698462.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. You will receive an email confirmation of your online donation immediately. The Amherst Survival Center will mail you a tax receipt for your donation within 2-3 weeks.

Can I give a monthly donation?

Of course! Monthly gifts reduce administrative costs and allow more of your gift to go towards our programs. You will receive one acknowledgement and tax receipt at the end of the calendar year. To donate via credit card, simply choose “Recurring” under Donation Type.

How do I update my monthly donation information?

Please contact Lisa Queenin by phone at (413)549-3968 x 108 to update your information. Please do not email any sensitive information to us!

How do I give a gift in honor or in memory of someone?

If you’d like to make a tribute gift by credit card, please choose that option on the form below. Once you select “in honor of” or “in memory of”, new fields will open that allow you to write in the honoree’s name. You also have the option for us to send your honoree or their family member an acknowledgement of your donation by mail or email. Please be sure to include this information. If making a donation by check, please include a note with this same information.

Thank you for donating to the Amherst Survival Center. Your donation will help ensure our neighbors have access to food, clothing, health care, wellness, and community in a welcoming environment. We accept online donations using your credit or debit card or through your bank account.

You can also mail your donation by check or credit card to Amherst Survival Center, PO Box 9629, North Amherst, MA 01059. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Queenin, Development Coordinator, at (413)549-3968 x 108 or lisa@amherstsurvival.org.
