Community fundraising events provide critical support to the Amherst Survival Center. They not only raise badly needed funds for our programs, but they also build community and engage participants and volunteers in our mission.

OCTOBER 14 & 15, 2017: Empty Bowls Bowl-Making Marathon and Open Studio, October 14 & 15, 12:00-4:00 PM both days
Tiffany Hilton Pottery, 221 Pine St. Studio 352, Florence
Tiffany Hilton Pottery is hosting a bowl making marathon to benefit our 10th annual Empty Bowls dinner. Come and try the potter’s wheel! No experience necessary and instruction will be available. All bowls will be donated. Information here.
NOVEMBER 4, 2017: Feed the Spirit, A Celebration for the Amherst Survival Center, 5:00-9:00 PM Montague Retreat Center
Information here. Join us for a memorable evening featuring a spectacular aerial and acrobatic performance by Nimble Arts, a delicious dinner, and a lively Fund-A-Need auction.
NOVEMBER 11 & 12, 2017: Amherst Half Marathon & Family 5K
The Amherst Half Marathon provides a weekend of activity. Sunday features the 13.1 mile race and a 2 or 3-person half marathon team relay. On Saturday, enjoy a family 5K, plus youth race options. A portion of the proceeds benefits the ASC. More information here. Runners and volunteers needed.
