Our annual special events and fundraising events in the community raise awareness and critically needed funds to support our mission.
OUR ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENTS
Empty Bowls happens every March at The Pub in downtown Amherst. Guests choose a beautiful handcrafted bowl from an abundant selection all made and donated by more than 50 area potters. With their keepsake bowl, attendees enjoy a delicious meal of soup, salad, and bread donated by local restaurants. This is the Amherst Survival Center’s largest annual fundraiser.
FEED THE SPIRIT
Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Old Chapel at UMass
Join the Amherst Survival Center at our annual fall event, Feed the Spirit! Don’t miss out on food, fun, and music at the Old Chapel on the campus of UMass Amherst as we raise funds for the Center’s programs. More details coming soon.
In January 2018, we held our inaugural Musical Bingo. It was so much fun, we’ve decided to make it an annual event featuring different decades and genres of music. Escape the winter blues at this fun-filled and unique take on traditional bingo!
The Amherst Survival Center is grateful to be the beneficiary of events held on its behalf. Please let us know if you would like to host an event to benefit the Center. Let us know by e-mailing us Lisa Queenin, the Center’s Development Coordinator at: email@example.com.
