Cider Donut Run 10K and 2 Mile Walk

cider donut run

Sunday, November 3rd, 2013

Lace up your running or walking shoes and join us for the 2nd Annual Cider Donut Run to benefit the Amherst Survival Center.  The race is fully supported with several water stops, mile markers, music, and traffic marshals on the road. Every runner and walker will enjoy a fall bounty of cider donuts, apples, apple cider, and other treats at the finish line.  Prizes will be awarded to top finishers overall and in age categories.

Last year’s inaugural event raised $12,900 to help the Amherst Survival Center continue providing services and support to people in Amherst and surrounding towns. Since 1976, the Amherst Survival Center has provided a welcoming community where families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet can come for food, clothing, health care and for companionship.  We hope this year’s event will raise even more funds to support this important mission.
