Empty Bowls Annual Fund-Raising Dinner

Thanks to everyone who made our 5th Annual Empty Bowls event (2013) a success!

Empty Bowls  is an event that brings together a broad cross-section of the Amherst and
surrounding communities to support the work of the Amherst Survival Center. Patrons choose from beautiful hand-made bowls donated by local potters and then dine on steaming soups, bread and salad donated by local restaurants and cheerfully served up by local celebrities.

Last year’s event in March attracted over 500 people and, with extensive media coverage and word of mouth publicity, sold out more than two weeks prior to the event.
