Making A Financial Donation

The Amherst Survival Center’s services are possible only through the philanthropic support of our community. Your gift will enable us to continue to respond to the immediate needs of our neighbors. We welcome and are grateful for your involvement and support.

You can make a one-time donation or you can join our Sustainers’ Circle and make a recurring monthly donation via your credit card. More information on how to join our Sustainer Circle below.

Sustainer Circle

Sustainer Circle Monthly Giving, because of its predictability, allows the Amherst Survival Center to plan for the year ahead, budgeting and allocating resources to make sure our participants have consistent access to our programs. We are so appreciative and honored that many of our supporters choose this option for their financial commitment to the Center.

Sustainer Circle Monthly Giving is:

  • hassle-free
  • flexible

Your membership can continue indefinitely, or you can change or suspend it at any time.  To join our circle of monthly supporters:

  • Follow the link above in the ‘Give Online via Credit Card’ to the Caring Habits online donation form
  • Look for the Sustainer Circle section in the “Donation Frequency” area and select the frequency you wish to make your gift
  • Select the amount you’d like to contribute each time in the “Donation Amount” menu
  • Select the date you’d like your credit card to be charged (the 1st or the 15th of the month)

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. To learn if your employer participates in this program, you can contact us or your employer’s Human Resources office. Matching gift programs are set up by companies to encourage community engagement and support organizations that are important to their employees. The company sets money aside for this purpose, but you as the employee have to ask for the match to be made. Having your gift matched is one of the benefits you receive as an employee. By taking advantage of it, you increase the amount of support you are able to give to the Amherst Survival Center and other organizations you care about.

Corporate and Business Involvement

We appreciate the support our corporate and foundations partners provide! There are many ways for your company to support the Amherst Survival Center. Please contact Mindy Domb at 413-549-3968 x107 or to learn more.
