FINANCIAL DONATIONS
You can make a difference by….
- Responding to the annual appeal and gift catalog each November and December.
- Doubling your donation when you participate in employer matching gift programs.
- Adding the ASC to your monthly online bill payments.
- Establishing a recurring donation via Visa/Mastercard from this website.
- Designating the ASC when you contribute to UMACC, COMECC (for MA state employees), or the United Way.
- Celebrating special occasions with donations in your honor in lieu of gifts.
- Considering gifts of stock or planned giving.

ITEM DONATIONS
Donations are accepted M, T, F 11-3 and Thursday 11-7.
Gently used seasonal clothing and shoes, children’s goods, books (no textbooks or magazines, please), linens and housewares are welcome. Please ask us for a tax-deductible receipt!

We collect gently used furniture – by appointment only. We cannot accept furniture dropped off at the Survival Center. Most of the furniture we collect is saved for our Trash to Treasures Furniture Sale, held the weekend after Labor Day. Click here for details.
FOOD DONATIONS
Non-perishable food is always needed and welcomed in our Emergency Food Pantry. To organize a Food Drive, contact Jennifer, Pantry Coordinator (x204) or jen@amherstsurvival.org
Prepared and/or perishable food is often welcome in our Kitchen. It’s best if you let us know it’s coming. Contact Linda, Kitchen Coordinator, (x203) or brooks@amherstsurvival.org .
FRIENDS of the ASC
Friends receive an infrequent email (less than monthly) when a special need arises. An example is a client who had a fire and had immediate needs for beds and other household basics. Another example is a small file cabinet needed by the ASC for the new medical clinic.
