The Amherst Survival Center’s Free Store is an abundant source of gently used clothing, household bedding and appliances, board games, DVD’s – all items are absolutely free to the Center’s visitors and clients. A warm winter jacket can make such a difference in a child’s walk to school, a used microwave can replace one that ‘dies’, letting a struggling family allot their limited funds to other urgent needs.
